Step-by-Step Reference

Create a Session

A session is the interview event itself: the date, the times, and the details candidates register for. Here's what each part of the session form expects.

Attach a Job

Select a Job

  • A job is required in order to start a session.
  • In the Select a Job field, type the name of your job. A list of jobs will appear in a dropdown. Click on your job in order to connect it to the session to be created.

Session Names

Session Names

  • The Internal Session Name is only visible to internal users and will not be seen by candidates.
  • The Session Name will be seen by candidates.

Interview Length, Start & End Time

Interview Length, Start & End Time

  • Depending upon your start and end times, the interview length will determine how many interview slots will be open for that time period.

Session Date

Session Date

  • You may only create sessions no earlier than two days in advance.

Interviewers

Interviewers

  • If you do not see an interviewer that you want to connect to the session, you will have to add them from the Settings page under User and Role Management.

Interview Capacity Planning

Interview Capacity Planning

  • Registration % is the percentage of invited candidates expected to register.
  • Show % is the percentage of registered candidates expected to show.
  • There is a suggested default of 20% for registration and 30% for show, but you can modify this with help from the Hiring Pipeline Calculator.

Finalize

Finalize

  • You may either create the session, save as a draft to create at a later date, or send for approval.
    • Sending for approval will draft the session until a Manager approves it.
